Reflexology

60 minutes - £35

A therapeutic, deeply relaxing holistic treatment performed on the feet using specific techniques to stimulate every system and organ. Particularly good for injured backs, hormonal problems, pain relief, stress and stress related disorders, digestion, and pregnancy care (after the first trimester). A balancing treatment it brings health and vitality to the whole body.

Swedish/deep tissue massage

30/90 minutes - £30/£60

Massage can be deep to release muscle tension or more gentle and calming to completely relax you. Using the skills I have gained as a therapist of 18 years standing, I draw on my knowledge and experience, and use a full range of different massage techniques such as Swedish and deep tissue massage, harmoniously combined to give you the massage you need.

Indian head massage

30 minutes - £20

Invigorating upper body treatment, which focuses on releasing tension from the shoulders, neck and scalp. The massage uses techniques from traditional Indian champi massage (champissage). It is performed through clothes while the recipient remains seated. Oil is not used in this therapy, though their is the option of using conditioning oils in the hair during the scalp massage.

Warm bamboo massage

60 minutes - £55

A relatively new style of massage that is fast gaining popularity in health spas. Warmed and oiled bamboo tools are used to deliver long sweeping effleurage strokes interspersed with targeted deep pressure work on knots and tension.

Reiki

60/90 minutes - £40/£55

Reiki is passed through the hands of the practitioner to the recipient. Healing may occur on a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level as the energy is drawn to where it is needed most. It can strengthen the immune system, relieve pain and treat the root cause of illness in addition to the symptoms. Whatever your circumstances a Reiki treatment, with its pure holistic outlook can enable subtle, wide-reaching, or sometimes even unexpected changes to occur. Some clients prefer a Reiki treatment because there is no need to undress.

Thai herbal compress massage

60 minutes - £55

The compress traditionally consists of a mixture of several herbs traditionally used in Thai herbal medicine, such as lemongrass, turmeric, kaffir lime, camphor and tamarind. The compresses are steamed and then worked into the muscles. As the pores open from the moist heat it allows the herbs to take effect. Ailments such as stiff, sore or pulled muscles and ligaments are relieved.

Hot stone massage

60minutes - £55

Uses smooth volcanic basalt stones heated, and oiled, to smoothly but firmly work into tense and knotty muscles. The warmth of the stones, combined with the massaging action on the muscles, relaxes and releases muscular tension.

Thai foot massage

30 minutes - £20

Thai Foot Massage is a massage of the lower legs and feet that involves hands on stretching and massage to “open” Sen (energy) Lines, along with the use of a stick to stimulate the reflex points on the feet which correspond to the internal organs of the body. Thai Foot Massage stimulates these points to promote general health and well-being.

Aromatherapy massage

60 minutes - £50

Essential oils have many healing and therapeutic properties. These beautifully fragrant plant essences are blended specifically to suit your needs, and applied using an aromatherapy massage. Much gentler than a Swedish or deep tissue massage, the focus of this treatment is on the action of the oils as they are absorbed through the skin and inhaled through the nose. They are then used by your body to influence your mood and promote your health and well-being.

Hopi ear candles

30 minutes - £35

The "candles" are long tubes that are lit at one end while the other end is gently inserted into the top of the ear canal. It works rather like a chimney, drawing impurities in the ear canal to the surface whilst equalising pressure. Very beneficial before a flight for those who experience pain with changes in cabin pressure. Also useful for anyone who has problems from a congested ear canal, sinusitis, itchy ears, and earache, as long as there is no infection or damage to the eardrum. This treatment is also known as "thermo-auricular therapy"

Facial rejuvenation massage

60 minutes - £45

This revolutionary facial is often also referred to as 'Natural Facelift Massage'. The massage starts with cleansing of the skin followed by energy work on pressure points of the face. Then an involved, precise series of unique massage techniques are performed without oil, to tone muscles and release fixed areas of tension in the connective tissue. It nourishes the skin by encouraging circulation and finishes off with a series of lymph drainage techniques to improve the complexion and encourage toxin removal. The most relaxing facial ever.
